Currently employed as senior research geologist in Quaternary science. Previously employed with the Geological Museum and the Arctic Station. Danish citizen. First degree in Geology and biology 1984, Ph.D. 1989, at the University of Copenhagen

 

Research interests include Quaternary geology, history and palaeoecology, plant- and animal macrofossils, Quaternary vegetation and flora history in the North Atlantic region, palaeolimnology, history of the Baltic Sea
