FACULTY OF SCIENCE: In 1850 the Faculty of Science became an independent
faculty of the University of Copenhagen founded in 1479.

DMI: The Danish Meteorological Institute was founded in 1872. It provides
meteorological services for the Kingdom of Denmark and does atmospheric
and climate research.

GEUS: The Geological survey of Denmark and Greenland is a research and
advisory institution in the Danish Ministry of Energy and Environment. It
provides geological services involving mapping, data collection and basic
research.

NERI: The National Environmental Research Institute (called DMU in Danish) is a research institution in the Danish Ministry of Energy and Environment. The tasks
are environmental research, monitoring and advising.
