Copenhagen Global Change Initiative
The Copenhagen Global Change Initiative established in 1999 - consists of
a PhD School and a network of researchers in the areas of environment and climate.
The PhD School is hosted by the Natural Sciences Faculty of the University
of Copenhagen and is operated in collaboration with DMI, NERI and GEUS. COGCI
will focus on both Danish and international research. COGCI will build from
an integrated network of research institutes, coordinated under the University
of Copenhagen, and will encompass all relevant scientific disciplines and cross-disciplinary
work which address global, regional and local implications of environmental
and climate problems.
The Danish Research Training Council (FUR) supports COGCI.
